About Springfield United Football Club

Springfield United Football Club (SUFC) is a community-based sporting organisation, set up in 2008 by Ryan Ginard with a single men’s team. Since then, SUFC has continued to grow. In 2023, the club had over 1,200 players across 95+ teams ranging from Little Springers (3-5 year olds) through to over 45s. Since the 2020 season, the club has played out of its new home at the Springfield Central Sports Complex, using Field 1 and 2, either side of the Netball courts. SUFC’s Mission Statement is to ensure the continued promotion of football in Greater Springfield, principally through the provision of sporting and social activities for people of all ages and abilities. SUFC proudly supports the communities of Springfield, Springfield Lakes, Spring Mountain, Brookwater and Augustine Heights. As one of the fastest growing Football clubs in Ipswich, and surrounding areas such as Logan and the Greater Brisbane region, Springfield United would like to extend our warmest welcome to new and returning players.
