About St Albans Sports Club (SWQ)
St. Albans Soccer Club was founded in 1963. With the remaining members of the St Albans CEBS Club and the Newtown Fitness Club, the Saints entered 3 Junior teams in the Toowoomba Junior Association fixtures in 1964. The original grounds were on Ruthven St (current site of Burstows Funerals) and in 2004 relocated to Middle Ridge Park on Stenner St. In 2013 the Club upgraded their facilities from a colourbond shed to a fantastic clubhouse. This was made possible due to a lot of hard work from the commitee and a joint venture with Toowoomba Regional Council
